I have never been a patient person when it comes to waiting on something I want. What I want more than anything is to hear some good news concerning Hyatt’s condition. I know that all of you are in the same situation and that for some of you, this site is your source for updates. I apologize that we have not posted since this weekend.
Hyatt’s medical condition has not changed since this weekend, but there have been some care changes. Hyatt was moved from intensive care to intermediate care Sunday night. What this means is that she is not as medically fragile as she was when she arrived at the hospital. She will still have access to a high level of care and therapy. The physical and occupational therapists came by to evaluate Hyatt so that they can make their therapy plan. Their care is important to ensure that her muscles and skin don’t deteriorate while she remains in a minimally conscious state. The respiratory doctor continues to step down the support that the ventilator is providing and Hyatt is slowly taking over more of the effort of breathing. The cardiologist has begun some pharmaceutical therapy for Hyatt’s heart.
I will post the results of today’s meeting this evening. Please continue to pray for and support Hyatt, her family, and her medical team. I am humbled by the outpouring of love and support you have provided to date.

Allen,
Would you please tell Troy that his family in NJ continues to pray for his family and for Hyatt's recovery. His cousins (even the younger ones that he hasn't yet met) send their love and look forward to a family reunion when Hyatt wakes up. I do believe in miracles and I believe that patience is the greatest gift that I have received. Thank you for helping Troy through this.
Debbie
Thanks for the update Allen!

Thanks for letting us know. So many continue to pray for and think about the entire family. You are loved.
Allen - You're doing a great job in replacing Pete. Everyone needs a friend like you!
Troy - we continue to pray daily for your entire family. And we look forward to seeing you at work. Let us know what assistance you need.

Allen,
Thank you for keeping us updated. Our prayers continue to remain with all of you.
Allen,
I know, and I'm sure I speak for many, that you have taken on an enormous job of transcribing Hyatt and Troy's days.
Thank you so very much!
My prayers are with you all.
Hi! My name is Laura and I am Deb & John Caskey's daughter. I will have to say I'm not much of a prayer, but I can't seem to say enough for Hyatt and her family and friends. I know that when I read this blog every day my heart sinks when there is a lapse in information. It must be incredibly difficult to have that job on your shoulders. So many of us rely on this information so that we can be there in spirit every step of the way. I haven't had the chance to meet Troy and Hyatt, but after all this I think I could probably pick them out of a crowd of millions. I totally appreciate all the people that have provided us information, especially Allen and Pete. You both do an amazing job!

I passed a small old church in the middle of a teaching garden today and said many prayers for Hyatt. In the midst of God's wonder, with the sun beating down, the flowers, and the butterflies fluttering about, it was easy to envision brighter days on the horizon...
Still saying prayers for a miracle. I know everytime I look at my children that miracles occur all the time. Your family has inspired many to be better people. That in itself is a miracle.
Hello Troy. I am a parent of a first time preschooler at Haymarket Baptist as well. When we heard news of what had happened to Hyatt my family and I immediately began to pray for her recovery as well as God's strength for you and your family.
My father-in-law has a miraculous medal he would like to share with you and Hyatt. It is from the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal in Paris. It is a special medal worn to invoke Mary to one's aide. It is believed that anyone who wears/possesses the medal is promised special graces and that you are to leave your intentions with it. When asking for a miracle who better to ask then the Blessed Mother.
I would be happy to send it along to Haymarket Baptist or bring it to the front desk at Fairfax should you wish to have it.
You are in our prayers daily and we hope the best for Hyatt and your girls.

Troy,
Believe it or not, this is the first time I have ever "blogged". So I hope I can manage to do this right. I have been reading the blog daily. I think there is more hope than the doctors are suggesting. Only in the past few years has the medical community begun to learn that the brain has regenerative power. Older doctors were no doubt taught in med school that you were born with all the neurons that you would ever have. We now know that's not true. I absolutely believe that Hyatt has a better chance to heal and recover than they have indicated. I hope it happens soon.
Take care,
Darryl
Thank you for your update, Allen. You are a wonderful friend to Troy and Hyatt. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Hyatt and her entire family.

My daughter attends Haymarket Baptist Church preschool as well. I don't know Hyatt...but I heard about what happened through the school, and have been thinking about her everyday, and check this blog all the time. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
For Troy,
Our prayers are with you and Hyatt and the babies. I believe in the power of God and he will continue to strenghthen you and your family as well as heal Hyatt. My prayers are once again with you all.

Thanks so much for the update Allen. Many people look to the blog daily, even if it is just a simple "no change". You are a wonderful friend to the Nolan family to take on such an important task. We do believe in miracles and we're constantly praying that Troy, Hyatt & the girls receive one. Still praying for Troy as he continues to keep his faith, rest and health as his journey takes him back to work as he continues to care for Hyatt, Sid & Bekah.
Allen....Thank you so much for updating. You are just wonderful...I have read the other posts and I'm sorry I can't remember if you are a cousin or a friend. It doesn't matter...you are one nice fellow :-) We have been praying for Hyatt, Troy and the girls. I'm so sad for them....I can't even imagine the many emotions they must be feeling. I do know that the human body is amazing...and nobody has all the answers...especially when it comes to the human brain and its healing...I believe in miracles and I believe that Hyatt WILL recover in time.
Hyatt is such a beautiful name :-)

You’ve got to believe that God is in control of your life. It may be a tough time but you’ve got to believe that God has a reason for it and he’s going to make everything good.
I received this in an e-mail and wanted to share it with the family.

Troy,
I've been checking this blog several times a day for updates and just wanted to let you know that I continue to pray for Hyatt, You, and the Girls every day. If there's anything that I can do (and I do mean anything), please let me know.

Thanks for the update. If there is anything we can do to help Troy and the girls out, please let us know. Provide more dinners, clean the house, watch the girls anything at all, just say the word.

Dear Troy,
My youngest brother suffered a very serious head injury four years ago. He was classified as "semi-comatose" for many days.
His injury resulted in severe hearing loss which none of the trauma/ ICU doctors had detected. It made him very combative, agitated, and he did not follow commands. They were not very optimistic. Once we discovered the background behind his behavior, everything changed. He has survived the accident, but does have residual. He has balance problems, along with hearing problems, but is a very functioning member of society. My message to you is to please have Hyatt's hearing and vision tested. It can certainly have an affect on a person's ability to come back to reality. I do realize that Hyatt did not have head trauma as my brother did, but lack of oxygen carries a very similar hit.
Know that you and your entire family are in my daily prayers.

Thank you so much for the update. I am so amazed at the loving support of the family, extended family, and friends. I can feel the outpouring of love and tenderness all the way here in Illinois, where I can do nothing but pray, and pray, and pray. Shirley
