A bunch of people have asked about a way for people to post pictures and stories; you people have no idea how over my head this tech stuff is. Before Troy left for the hospital just now, he was explaining to me some way to access his photos -- the computer I'm using can access his PC through the router, and with certain permissions, and only when it's powered some certain way, or something.
Troy has this house so wired it's unbelievable; as I type here in the kitchen, there is a desktop window of Sidney taking her nap, fed by a web-cam and PC in her room -- no doubt routed in some way through that master control Nerve Center room Troy has set up downstairs in the basement. I am not kidding. Seriously, you have to be careful about where you change your clothes in this house with all the surveillance equipment he's got tied into this vast home network.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I am confident that there's some way to let everyone post pictures, but I have no idea how to do that right now.
I think I figured out how to paste a picture in this message though, so I'll try that. One is a recent picture of Hyatt and Bekah, and the other of Sidney (the red-head) playing with her younger twin cousins, Alex and Hannah (my kids) a couple of months ago. I KNOW there are better pictures than these somewhere -- in fact, Troy was saying that they just got some family portraits made a week or so ago.... so we'll work on that later (and figure out a way for everyone to share photos).

From Steve & Barb Gamradt: We have not posted anything to the blog yet and I don't know why (this is Steve typing). I think it is cause we are still in shock. However, Peter,Patricia, Troy, Hyatt, and all your children and Jennifer, Jim, and Colleen, and Hyatt's family, you MUST know that we are praying non-stop almost. A miracle would be really nice. Or just waking up w/o a miracle would be nice too. We know it is possible, i.e. that God has the Power (for Thine is the Kingdom, the POWER,....) but what is God's Will?......that is what we are still waiting for (Thy WILL be done.....). I found this excellent prayer/poem that I wanted to share with you and your families, your friends, and anyone who happens to read these comments on this blog. Here goes:
"MOM I PRAY YOU CAN HEAR ME"
Mom I pray you can hear me!
Because I want you back
With all your brain waves back on track.
I love you more than you will ever know
I want to give you a great big hug to show you so,
You have to wake up from your coma
So open those beautiful eyes and look around the room
To see all the people (22 maybe) who love you are rooting for you
And want to see you fully alive.
Please Dear God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Blessed Mother Mary
we pray that Hyatt wakes up from her coma
fully healed, active and alive.
Please We pray for a Miracle
that Hyatt and other Coma Patients
Will wake up soon, and become totally alive
with no brain damage to complicate their lives!
In Christ's Name we pray....AMEN
And Pete, keep the posts coming. Barb and I find ourselves checking several times a day to keep abreast of the developments. We know it's not easy for you but it is sooo appreciated by us and the hundreds of people reading the blog every day.
Love,
Steve & Barb Gamradt

A group of friends from SPEA have put together a site to collect pictures. We're using it to create a journal/collection of pictures for the girls. Anyway, you all are welcome to join as members and add your own pictures. The site is: http://hyattpics.shutterfly.com/. I'm rather new at this ... but I think it is open to all to join. If you have any problems, please send me an email at jesbullock@hotmail.com and I'll add you as a member.
Beautiful family. It's nice to put a face with all the names since we do not know you personally. Great idea.
Pete and Troy - THANK YOU for all of your thoughtful and thorough updates. I'm sure it takes alot out of you to rehash and rethink about everything that's going on in order to update us each day, but all of us "out here" REALLY appreciate the many details you provide. Hyatt is SO very loved.
Positive thoughts and prayers,

I contacted Julie S after she posted the message that she had made a MySpace website for Hyatt's music. I asked her if she could also post pictures on the site and she was most definitely willing to do so. I'm fully aware of Troy's technological genius and for the time being, this would be a really simple way to get pictures up. Let me know if you want more details - you can reach me at via e-mail at jgcv@comcast.net.

That sounds fine. I just refined the http://hyattpics.shutterfly.com/ site. The one advantage with shutterfly is that people can easily make prints if they want. Anyway, all are welcome to post pictures and general comments on the site. Thanks, Jessica
