Prayer Vigil

I hope you all can join us tomorrow for a prayer vigil for Hyatt. Julia Alejandre from Austin, TX and a member of the "Hyatt's Best Friend Club" had a great idea this week that we all spend an hour tomorrow praying for Hyatt. The vigil will be held at 3pm EST (2pm for Julia). You do not need to be Catholic, Methodist, or Baptist to join us and please feel free to join in from wherever you happen to be. Troy and I will be at his church in Fairfax Station:

St. Mary's Historic Catholic Church
5612 Ox Rd
Fairfax Station, VA 22039
(703) 239-8613

There is a wedding at 2 so please don't arrive too early. This is a funny statement to me because in my family the joke was always that Murray means "late to church" in some language :-) My father used to try all sorts of ways to trick us into arriving before the music began, but we usually ended up in the back.

I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you in person and I will be with the rest of you in spirit.

Thank you in advance for your participation,
Allen

I will be praying at 2pm central tomorrow.

I live in Chicago and though I have never met Hyatt, Troy and family, I feel like I know you after hearing such great things about you all from Julia all these years. (I belong to the "Julia's best friend club" LOL).

I listened to the song recordings of Hyatt on Facebook and feel the best way I can honor and pray for her is to sing. Julia and I were in church choir together in high school and though the pipes are rusty, I have been singing our old choir songs all week and sending the songs to Hyatt via the spiritual wire. I hope that she is hearing them and when she wakes up she will be singing them (much better than me). ;)

Troy, you and your family are all in my prayers!

Troy,

We will all be with you in prayer during the vigil and until Hyatt fully returns to you, Sidney and Rebekah. Wish we could be there in person, but understand we are always with you in spirit and prayer that our Heavenly Father will grant Hyatt a complete and speedy recovery.

I have been following your blog sent to me by friends. My family and I live in the area and although we don't know Hyatt, Troy and family personally - they sound truly amazing. From one mommy to another -- I plan to say a prayer for you and your family tomorrow.

Tonight we (the Order of St. Luke, and interdemoninational healing group) had a Taize healing service, which had been scheduled for at least 6 months, in metro Detroit. The entire time I was praying for Hyatt and family. I was in tears most of the time. The first song was "stay with us Lord Jesus Christ, night will soon fall. Do stay with us O Lord Jesus Christ, light in our darkness." And all I could think of was Jesus as the light that's healing Hyatt. One of the prayers talked about making room for the Lord's power to possess us and I thought of how He's filling Hyatt now. Another some said "come and fill our heart's with Your peace" and I thought of Troy and the girls. By the time that song was over I had stopped crying, and was feeling His peace, and knew that it had reached Hyatt and family back in VA. Another song asked "O Lord hear my prayer, come and answer me". After tonight I have a stronger sense that we're going to see His glory in a miracle here.

I met Hyatt went she was lead singer in the Johnstown's Cats in Ann Arbor. Dylan Clyne is my son-in-law.

God bless, Patsy

Our faith is not shaken either, and we'll continue to pray and believe for a healing miracle.

Troy,
I wish I had seen the information about the prayer vigil yesterday, I would have come. Unfortunatly, I just checked the blog around 3:30, so I just said a couple Hail Marys to join with you in prayer.
Take care. . .

I was not able to attend the vigil however, I prayed for her at 3pm with the rest of you. I was in the mountains by a river kneeling on the wet grass and feeling the warm sun on my teary eyed face. As I prayed for Hyatt, I felt peace come over me. God has a plan and he hears our prayers. If you close your eyes do you hear her laugh? I LOVE her laugh! Still praying, Jen W
