The priest from Troy and Hyatt's church came to the hospital sometime that morning (it's a blur for me) to give the Anointing of the Sick ceremony. That was maybe the hardest moment for all of us. He said that he's seen many miracles, and I think that's when it hit us all that's exactly what we are going to need here.
Before the ceremony started, Troy told the priest that Hyatt is not Catholic (he didn't want he priest to unknowingly gt in trouble?), and asked if that mattered. The priest said it doesn't matter....and even if it did it wouldn't matter to him. I said "Father, she promises to consider conversion if you deliver this miracle thing." Hyatt, beggars can't be choosers -- sue me :)
Anyway, Troy has been amazingly rational and strong throughout all this, but during this ceremony was visibly the toughest time for him so far. He needs his wife, his two little kids need a mother, and we all need Hyatt in our lives.

pete, you also mentioned to me on the phone that the priest said he was very hopeful for her...that's a lot coming from someone in his position. It gave me more hope when I heard you say that.
I am a friend of Nancy & Whitney Ford...I (and about 75 others) have been faithfully praying for and standing for total healing for Hyatt as soon as Nancy informed us (Thursday)....
I ask that you don't take the report of "man"...that you stand and believe in the Word of God and believe for miracles for Hyatt...this is very important. Even though priests have spoke last rites/etc. over her....this means nothing in the what God/Jesus can do....Remember, Jesus died on the cross for our healing and that means Hyatt too....
Please, pray against the spirit of acceptance and oppression and death and receive the blessing of ife and healing for Hyatt..that's what we are all standing for.
We send our love and prayers to you all...
