Quick Surgery Update

Hi everyone. Troy is at home putting his girls to bed. I'm sure he will post a more detailed account of this evening, but if you are like me, you need info now :-)

I just spoke with Hyatt's nurse to find out about the surgery(s). Hyatt did very well. This kind of surgical procedure is quite common and takes place in the patient's room. Hyatt is now breathing through a small opening in her lower throat and eating supper from a small tube inserted directly into her abdomen. This sounds horrible I know, but it is necessary for her long term comfort as she begins on a path towards healing.

If you have questions which are not being answered by the posts, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly by e-mail: allenmurray (at) mac (dot) com

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support.

Allen,
Thank you so much for the update.
Would you please tell Troy that all of his family in New Jersey is praying for him and that we send our love.
Would you also send our get well wishes to Jim. His brother Vince wonders if you all are still enjoying Jim on painkillers. We hope that Herman is feeling a little stronger.

You don't know me, but I feel as if I now know your family friends and loved ones. I have read every single update, comment and posts. What a beautiful young family. Hang in there, prayers are going out all over the world just from people reading this blog. Pete, yea I can call you by your first name, you are an amazing man, Troy, Hyatt, the kids and the whole clan are lucky to have you. You have endured a lot watching your brother and family go thru these trying times yet in every post you managed quite eloquently to make me cry like a baby and laugh out loud just when I thought the tears would never stop. I will pray for not only Hyatt but for the whole family. God bless you all, and Troy get rest you need rest! With Love and best wishes...Trish
