What a Voice

I have been approached by a number of people who were not aware that Hyatt is such a talented vocalist. The first time Troy played some of Hyatt's singing for me, I was not convinced he was telling the truth. It was only after he showed me the videos that I was convinced. In addition to being such a great friend to so many, Hyatt has brightened our days and provided our ears with a real treat. I have attached a music player with five of Hyatt's recordings for your musical pleasure. All I ask in return is that you say a little prayer to thank the Lord for giving us such a talented friend and to ask for her comfort and healing.

Please Let Me know if you experience any technical issues.

Enjoy,
Allen

She's wonderfully gifted--as I'm sure youall know!! I wish I had recordings of my daughter singing at weddings, etc. I'm going to have to ask some of the people who videotaped their weddings if I can get them--although I don't know if I could bear to listen to them now.

I feel like I know Hyatt through all the wonderful updates we've been given on this blog. This was such a special treat, to hear her voice - something I know you are all longing for right now.

And that beautiful voice... made me weep.

Thank you.

Hyatt is very talented - a beautiful voice. Loved the songs and my young daughter did too - she had a dance party to them. You couldn't create an album on a private label could you?, the sale of which could help for medical care?

Hyatt's beautiful, beautiful voice has been playing on my computer all day. My children age 2-4-7 have been dancing thru out the evening listening to her. Though I have never met Hyatt I feel she has gently touched my children thru her wonderful music. Thank you so much for letting my family get closer to Hyatt thru her music. We are constantly praying that Hyatt returns to you and your beautiful daughters.

We had no idea what an amazing voice Hyatt had until my daughter's 10th birthday party. We had a friend set up his DJ equipment with karaoke ability. Troy first broke the ice singing John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy". The kids then took over with all the "in songs". Later on in the evening, Hyatt wooed us all with her sultry vocals. We could have listened to her all night long. Hyatt left a lasting impression with all who were there that night. As we listened to her recordings, it brought back wonderful memories. Allen, thank you for providing the means for everyone to hear Hyatt's voice.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I love the idea a previous poster had about creating an album on a private label for medical care cost.

I had the pleasure of taking care of the sound equipment for The Johnstown Cats (a swing band that Hyatt sang in while she and Troy lived in Michigan). I loved to hear her sing songs that were that playful and fun.

I know some of the Cat's are watching this blog. I hope that some of them will post a story...

Get better soon, Hyatt!

I always enjoyed being able to sing with Hyatt and listen to her both in shows we were in together and when we would spend time together. What a beautiful voice.

Amazing voice! I have been playing her songs over and over again on my computer today. I am going through a heart-breaking divorce and listening to Hyatt's voice leaves me in a state of meditation and total relaxation. Her voice flows directly into my heart and seems to be healing most of the aches that have been living there for a while now. Today I even had the desire to smile and dance in my chair while listening to her singing.
I pray for her recovery with all I have. She deserves to live and give to this world as she has talent beyond boundaries. One day she will be amazed at how many new friends she has made along the way…

Thank you Allen for putting this together for all of us. Such a beautiful voice to go along with her beautiful personality. As I listened to the songs I instantly thought of making a CD, selling it and using the funds to help Troy with all the medical expenses. I see others have had the same great idea. Thank you for taking the time to allow all of us to enjoy Hyatt's magical voice.
Please let Troy know we will continue to pray for his miracle and his strength.

Hi, I'm an ex coworker from EPA. I love the first song, very touching. I agree with the CD idea.

Also, posting a compilation of pics and videos with the first song would be great. If needed, I've done this before and would volunteer to put it together.

Hi, some of you may have seen me post here before. I was Troy's apartment-mate in grad school, and also played in the Johnstown Cats (tenor sax and a little piano). (That's us you you hear on the last three songs above.)

One of my fond memories from those days was an afternoon when Hyatt was visiting the apartment and we sang Indigo Girls songs together. She truly does have a beautiful voice.

When the Cats were looking for a singer, having heard Hyatt I suggested we ask her if she was interested. With Hyatt at the mic, we instantly gained several levels of polish and glamour, not unlike the Blues Brothers' band playing with Cab Calloway.

For those years we had a lot of fun playing at weddings, swing dance lessons, and gigs at a few local bars and street fairs, and Hyatt always put a little extra swing in everyone's step when she sang.

We were all extremely sad to see her move on to bigger and better things, and the band was the poorer without her (not to take anything away from the other great singers who came after). Hyatt brings a sense of style and elegance to everything she does, and I think nowhere is that more true than when she sings.

I've talked to a few of the other band members as we've run into each other around town, and they are all feeling deeply for Hyatt and Troy, and send their love and prayers. Hopefully a few others will post on here as well with their own memories. (Troy, you should also be getting something from us in the mail via the mom's group any day now.)

Thanks for posting the music, Allen!

Love,
Scott

I've been reading this blog since the beginning - since my blog friend Jackie mentioned it - and my heart has been broken since the beginning but there's something about hearing Hyatt's voice that so profoundly touched me that I can't stop crying now.

I send my love and prayers for Hyatt, her family and friends. Even though I never met her, I now consider myself a friend of this lovely woman and her family.

God keep you safe, Hyatt. Come back to all who love you soon.

Dear Troy:

Thank you for sharing Hyatt's beautiful and lively singing with all of us. How Blessed and gifted you have all been. We are Andi and Bill. We gave you the "red rose" at Hyatt's prayer vigil and we see you all at the Historic Church each Sunday. The rose was a
gift from St. Therese whose feast day was yesterday, October lst. Hyatt truly is a gift to all of us and we pray for her safe return to you on this the Feast of the Guardian Angels who hear our pleas and present them to Our Lord. Much peace and comfort to you and your family each and every day!!

Love and Blessings, Andi and Bill and "Kelly with Blessings from Above"

My sister lives in VA and my nephew is in Hyatt's eldest daughters preschool class. I am a teacher in Atlanta, GA. I teach at a Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and I have passed on a prayer request for Hyatt, her family, and friends to my school and church. I will also keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts as each day passes. Her music is beautiful and freeing. I do not know Hyatt or anyone in her family, but it is clear that she is loved. What a blessing to have touched so many lives. I pray that she continues to touch many more and that she will be able to embrace her husband and two daughters very soon. May God bless you and keep you all.

Sincerely,
Heather
